GRAN TORINO

I’d like to recommend a film which I’ve watched, called Gran Torino. The author of the film is Clint Eastwood.

The film is a drama and the setting is a neighbourhood where there are many Chinese and only one american. The main character is Wolth, the retired soldier (he’s the only person that live in this neighbourhood and his wife dead of the beginning of the film), with Thao, Mee, (chinese people) and the bad band who want to quarrel with Thao because he not want go with they.

Walt Kowalski thinks the world has gone to hell. Then an attempted theft of his Gran Torino, an unintentional act of heroism and an uneasy relationship with his despised Asian neighbours produeix in Walt towards a kind of reluctant redemption.

The things I liked most about the film were the characters and the theme of friendship. Some of the scenes are memorable because they’re really strong.

In general, I really liked the film and though it hasn’t got happy ending, I wouldn't change it. Finally, I recommend this film because It’s got a strong message and you learn things for example friendship and not to racism
